Oftentimes sunflower oil is used as a filler in plant-based omega-3s. We are strongly against the use of sunflower oil as a filler because it is pro-inflammatory which is why we use cranberry seed oil instead. Cranberry seed oil is a great source of Omega-3s in an ALA form which complements the algae oil quite nicely.
There is absolutely no shellfish in AquaOmega products, so you may take our product without worry of having a reaction.
All of our products are gluten free, soy free and GMO free. It is worth noting that we are not certified as gluten and GMO free as the demand for this certification has not been present. We may look into this at a future date if the demand is present.
AquaOmega products do not contain gluten, so it may be consumed by those who have Celiac disease, as that autoimmune disorder is triggered when you eat gluten. Omega-3 fatty acids can help relieve intestinal inflammation from Crohn's disease, so it is encouraged to consume if you suffer from Crohn's disease.

Omega-3s can help the health of many of your pets. Be sure to dose the appropriate amount depending on the size of your pet. Also be aware that some blends include vitamin D which should also be dosed at the proper level for your animal to avoid health complications.
We exclusively use anchovies, and for a few reasons:
We only use wild-caught anchovy, as farmed fish will have lower levels of omega-3s, and higher toxic levels. Farmed fish should be avoided at all costs in our opinion.
Yes, we make sure to use a small fleet of fishers who use GPS to only fish the more mature schools of anchovies. This is why AquaOmega has been awarded the Friend of the Sea certificate.
We do! This product is very unique and made specifically for those who are interested in only the most basic of ingredients.
Unflavoured Omega-3s
No fish burps from AquaOmega's Omega-3 products. Fish burps will often when you take an omega-3 in the cheaper ethyl ester form. This will typically upset your stomach and cause bloating and gas. AquaOmega is in a superior triglyceride form so that the product is more bioavailable while also being sure not to cause any fish burps!
